Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, or end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

Where Have I Been?

First of all, I've been in rehearsals for "Die Fledermaus" every second of my life. When we weren't in rehearsal, we were practicing with the orchestra or trying on costumes or painting set or learning how to do our hair and make-up. I went about three weeks only getting five hours or less of sleep each night. I thought I was going to go insane. On the bright side, we had an awesome run. The audience like it a lot more than I thought they were going to (since, you know, it's an opera...). I also made some wonderful new friends. I will talk about that show more in another post.

The rest of my life has been spent helping my friends celebrate the new changes in their lives. All pictures were taken from facebook since I have no camera:

Amy's Bridal Shower:

Zach's Farewell:

These pictures make me happy:

And yesterday, I had to say goodbye to this kid:

It was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, especially since we've spent most of our friendship fighting haha. Not really. Anyway, I'm gonna miss him!

It's a Sad Day When...

You see someone who you haven't seen in a long time and you find you have nothing to say to them when in the past you could talk about anything and everything for hours and days on end.

Valentine Cards

This is what Lex and I gave to our friends for Valentine's Day:

Yep. We really gave these to people.

If you did not recieve one, then this one is for you! You probably live too far away.

Our inspiration came on Satuday night when Breanna said, "I want to give out Valentines with my face on them." What a gem.

Watch This!

This is the wonderful story of Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, one of the most famous figure skating pairs of all time. I love this SO MUCH! This is just part 1 of the movie/documentary (and definitely the least interesting, but you have to start at the beginning). The rest are all on Youtube. It is filled with some of the most beautiful figure skating the world has ever seen, plus it's a beautiful and true love story. How could I not be obsessed with it?!

Great Things WILL Come!

Exactly a year ago, I was in "Singin' In The Rain". It was so wonderful and exactly the experience I needed at the time. Our cast was really small and didn't have any kids in it, so we all became really close and talked deeply with one another. We were a pathetic bunch of people. Actually, let me say that differently: the individuals in our cast seemed to have many trials. But they all handled their trials with Faith and Class.There. That's better and more accurate.

The most common theme was that about 75% of the cast was single, and of the single, about 50% were over 25. Now, remember, this is Davis County, so there was practically no hope that any of them would ever get married. Haha well, that is how they felt sometimes.

Other than that sad bunch of people, we had one girl who had been married for eight years and had been trying to have a baby for about seven years. One girl had been married for six years and was too scared to have kids. One girl was a college graduate and had recently lost her job. I was just having high school withdrawals, so it wasn't too bad for me. It was kinda a sad bunch of people. Together, however, we were all able to learn from one another. I became way close with many wise adults and learned a lot about how to handle trials that come my way in the future.

Now, I am happy to say, things are looking up for everyone! Both of the married women are expecting! The unemployed girl now has a great job! One of the single guys has an adorable girlfriend! And most awesomely (is that a word?):

...............

This girl...

And this guy...

GOT MARRIED!!!!

(BTW, Illumine Photography is awesome - I really like this lady's work!)

Isn't that adorable?! I love them!

So, when it seems like there is a time in your life that seems miserable and never ending, Guess what?! It WILL get better!!! It might take a long time (this all happened in one year but it could definitely be longer), but great things will come!

Christmas Carol Photos

If you can't tell, I LOVE every single person in this cast. It was so much fun!
