Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, or end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

A Lovely Weekend!

So this weekend has been so fun! First of all, both the RMT "Scrooge" Cast and the "Singin' in the Rain" Cast went to see "Kiss Me, Kate". Taylor Smith was in it. Breanna's family also went to see the show, and Cort and Lex stopped by Rodgers after the show.

Then, the RMT stage manager had a brilliant idea: instead of each cast going off to their own restaurant for a gathering, why not bring all the casts together at Chili's? I don't think a mulit-cast dinner has ever happened for RMT before. So we all went to Chili's. Each cast had their own tables, but we were all in a row. Here was my "Singin' in the Rain" table:

It was really fun, but so LOUD! Someone was like, "Scrooge cast, are you here?" and their cast would scream. Then they'd go through each cast and see which one was loudest. It was so insane!

After about a half an hour at Chili's, Taylor came. He had had to go home first to pick up his child development baby, Jansen, before he could come to Chili's. His cast's table was full, so he came and sat across from me! We talked for like an hour straight. It was so awesome to be around him again! It was also funny to watch him be a parent! He was complaining that he hadn't slept the night before because Jansen kept waking up. And then when Jansen started crying, Tay was like, "I just want to be able to eat my dinner!" haha it was so funny!

Then today I went to Jonathan Jarman's farewell. Jon gave a fantastic talk about enduring to the end. After his talk, we all went to his house and ate delicious food. It was a blast!

It has been a most enjoyable weekend!
